The Hilux is used to tow machinery and tools to and from jobs every day. These can be up to 30 miles away. A trailer is being towed nearly all the time with either a tonne or so of topsoil or hardcore or a mini-digger in. This is why the large torque gains where so beneficial to me and the company. This extra torque meant that the fully laden trailer could be pulled at far lower revs resulting in huge gains in fuel economy. The extra power when the trailer is taken off from the tunit still impresses me everytime.

After fitting had laptop tune. Tested on Tunit rolling road and tested against Golf 2.0TDi 170bhp by VW Driver mag. More power and torque than the 170 plus would pull in 6th from 1000rpm. This is now a very quick car delivering 50+ average mpg.(or more if you take off the lead boot)
